Mahzad Khoshlessan

Mahzad Khoshlessan is a Computer Vision Research Scientist at the Ford Robotics Institute, University of Michigan, where innovative evaluation frameworks have been engineered to enhance pose detection in estimation models. As a founder of the Business + Impact initiative at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, Mahzad conceptualized a high-impact business model aimed at securing substantial funding opportunities. Leadership skills have been demonstrated as Project Team Lead for the PerotJain Techlab, directing interdisciplinary teams to improve algorithmic performance. Additionally, experiences as Entrepreneurial Lead for NSF I-Corps Regional Team involved customer interviews and strategic business development. Prior roles at Omdena included managing global teams to elevate project efficiency. Mahzad is currently pursuing a PhD in Robotics from the University of Michigan, building on a Master's degree from Arizona State University in SEMTE and the Center for Biological Physics.
