Muazzum Shah is a highly experienced cardiac electrophysiologist currently serving at the University of Michigan since September 2024, following a five-year tenure that included roles as both Electrophysiology Fellow and Chief Cardiology Fellow from July 2019 to June 2024. Prior to this, Muazzum Shah worked as an Advanced Heart Failure Hospitalist at UCSF Medical Center from July 2018 to June 2019 and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UCSF from June 2015 to June 2018. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Michigan Medical School and a Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Research from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, complemented by a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. Additional early education includes completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Wichita East High School.
