Anna Ting

Anna Ting is a Senior Scientist at Umoja Biopharma. Anna has a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on T cell epigenetics in pulmonary infection. Anna has also worked on projects investigating the role of Notch and its ligand Delta-like 4 (Dll4) in pulmonary viral infection, as well as epigenetic regulation in Treg and Th17 cells. Her techniques include primary T cell culture, T cell line culture, T cell transduction, multicolor flow cytometry, chromatin immunoprecipitation, CD4 T cell functional assay, T cell suppression assay, cloning, qPCR, and RNA-seq. Prior to their current position, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Washington - School of Medicine.

They work with Alissa Brandes - Principal Scientist, Ryan Crisman - Co-founder and CTO, and Alyssa Sheih - Senior Scientist. Anna Ting reports to Andy Scharenberg, Co-founder and CEO.
