Gabriela Balvedi Pimentel

Gabriela Balvedi Pimentel is an experienced professional with a current role as Associate Programme Officer on the Gender Team at UN Climate Change since September 2022 and as a Guest Lecturer at Audencia since January 2025, where co-teaching occurs in the "People, Diversity, Rights" course for the MSc in Management for Sustainable Business. Previous experience includes collaborations with the International Labour Organization, where key contributions involved co-authoring chapters on just transition policies, drafting technical papers on gender equality, and conducting research for various projects. Gabriela Pimentel also served as a consultant for the Universal Periodic Review Branch at United Nations Human Rights, alongside internships at both UN Human Rights and International Labour Organization. Educational credentials include an M.A. in Anthropology and Sociology of Development from Geneva Graduate Institute, a Specialist Certificate from CLACSO, and a Qualifying Law Degree from Universidade Federal do Paraná, among other academic qualifications.
