Onorine Anwi Yunga

Onorine Anwi Yunga is a seasoned professional in gender equality and empowerment, currently serving as C.S.D. at UN Women and a Project Committee member at GovRise, both since late 2023. As the Founder and CEO of Women's Corner in Cameroon from 2020 to 2023, Onorine established a community organization focused on advocating for women's rights and combating gender-based violence. Experience includes a role at FAO, where Onorine contributed to gender equality in agriculture, and as a Research Assistant at Mastercard Foundation, analyzing social protection policies in Sub-Saharan Africa. Onorine's early career includes founding Agro-Venture to support rural women's agricultural practices and a variety of volunteer positions aimed at assisting refugees and promoting sustainable development. Onorine holds a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development from Sciences Po, alongside other academic qualifications in Development Studies and Public Administration.
