Mattie G. Harvey

Mattie G. Harvey is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Transfer Student Programs and an Academic Advisor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since September 2020. In this role, Mattie co-created the OSDS Success Program to support at-risk engineering students, utilizing data-driven approaches to identify and assist students on academic probation. Prior positions include Interim Assistant Director for Tutorial Services, where oversight of tutor coordination and training was key, and extensive experience as Assistant Director for Supplemental Instruction, focusing on peer-led academic support.
