Margaret Dardess

Margaret Dardess is a retired Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at UNC Health Care, where service spanned from 2012 until retirement. Currently, Margaret Dardess is engaged in full-time writing, with a first thriller titled "Brutal Silence" set to be published in March. In addition to this role, Margaret Dardess has served as President of the NC GSK Foundation for Math, Science, and Health Education since 1982. Prior positions include Assistant Vice Chancellor at the University of North Carolina from 2006 to July 2012 and Associate Vice Chancellor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2002 to 2012. Margaret Dardess holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Columbia University, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College, a Master of Arts from Columbia University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas.
