Sara Beland

Sara Beland, MHA, currently serves as the Associate Vice President for UNC Faculty Physicians Operations at UNC Health since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sara held the position of Associate Chair for Administration in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from June 2019 to June 2023. Sara's tenure at UNC Health Care, beginning in May 2011, included various roles such as Funds Flow Manager, Business Analyst, and Accounting Technician. Sara obtained a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
