Uche Graves is the head of communications at Uncapped, a financial technology company. Uche was previously the head of PR and communications at Contis from November 2019 to February 2022.

Contis is a leading provider of end-to-end banking and payments solutions. Its mission is to empower companies and people to realise their vision – in business and in life. Graves was responsible for leading the company’s PR and communications efforts, including working with media, analysts, and other stakeholders.

Under their leadership, Contis achieved significant growth and recognition. The company was named one of the 50 Best Workplaces in Europe by Great Place to Work in 2020 and 2021, and one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2021. Graves was also recognized as a Rising Star in PR Week’s Power Book 2020.

Prior to joining Contis, Graves worked in various communications roles at startups and tech companies in London. Uche has a degree in English Literature from the University of Oxford.

Uche Graves completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh, where they earned a Master of Arts in political science and government. Uche then went on to complete a PhD in philosophy at the same school.
