Aminul Arifeen is an experienced program manager with a focus on social protection policy reform and management in Bangladesh. Currently serving as the Program Manager at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) since September 2014, Aminul has successfully managed various social protection reform initiatives, collaborating with multiple government ministries and agencies. Prior roles include Census Coordinator for the EU/UNFPA Population Census Project, National Consultant for UNICEF and the International Organization for Migration, and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for UNFPA, among others. Aminul's extensive experience spans across program management, technical assistance, capacity building, and research related to public health, social protection, and population development. Aminul holds an MA in Population and Reproductive Health, and a sociology degree, equipping Aminul with a robust foundation in social statistics, research methodology, and policy development.
