Patrick Nataf has extensive experience in both academic and medical fields, holding significant positions at Université Paris Cité since May 2005, where responsibilities include directing an interdisciplinary immersive learning platform and serving as vice president for pedagogical innovation. In addition, Patrick Nataf is a cardiac surgeon and professor, leading the cardiac surgery department and the connected health responsibility center at AP-HP. Patrick Nataf is actively involved in research and education on immersive technologies, currently managing projects at LVTS and collaborating with Inserm on augmented reality in surgery. As co-chairman at UNESCO for digital anatomy education and serving on the scientific advisory board of the Quartier de l'innovation en santé de Montréal, Patrick Nataf demonstrates a commitment to innovation in health education. Additionally, Patrick Nataf co-founded ISMICS and continues to contribute to the field of minimally invasive cardiac surgery. Academic qualifications include a doctorate in medicine from Pierre and Marie Curie University and a master's degree in health management and policy from Sciences Po.
