Rui Ferreira Costa

Rui Ferreira Costa is a seasoned professional in cyber security and systems administration, currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Officer and Head of Windows Server Infrastructure at the United Nations International Computing Centre since April 2013. With extensive experience, Rui has also held roles such as Head of the Enterprise Monitoring and Windows Server Support Unit and Monitoring Team Leader. Prior to joining UNICC, Rui worked as a consultant with Amaris and contributed to GFI Portugal in multiple capacities, including Senior Systems Administrator and Team Leader, from December 2008 to March 2011. Rui commenced a career in systems administration at HP and gained early experience at Spirituc Sistemas de Informação and Oniway. Rui holds a Licenciatura in Engenharia Informática from Instituto Superior de Tecnologias Avançadas, completed between 2007 and 2010.
