Rachel Devitt

Rachel Devitt has extensive work experience in the finance and audit field. Rachel started their career as an Audit Assistant at Gilberts Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers in 2000. After completing three years in this role, they moved on to Grant Thornton LLP in 2004, where they worked as a Senior Audit Manager for over a decade. In 2014, Rachel joined Gingerbread as the Head of Finance, before transitioning to Unicef UK in 2016. At Unicef UK, they served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and later became the Director of Finance in July 2019. Rachel has demonstrated strong leadership and financial management skills throughout their career.

Rachel Devitt attended Whitehaven School from 1989 to 1996. Rachel then pursued higher education at The University of Manchester from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry.
