Diana Rayes is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Science, Technology, and International Affairs Program at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, where research is conducted on various topics relevant to the program. Additionally, Diana serves as a Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Technical Specialist for UNICEF, focusing on advancing child rights and mental health advocacy. Previous experience includes roles such as Global Health Reporting Fellow at the Pulitzer Center, Consultant for the World Health Organization, and various research positions addressing health emergencies, qualitative data analysis, and the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations. Diana holds a PhD in International Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and has degrees in Mental Health and Psychology from the same institution and Arizona State University, respectively.
