Therese Chan

Therese Chan currently serves as the Head of Wealth Management at UnionBank of the Philippines, recognized as the 2023 Philippine Retail Banker of the Year at the Retail Banking Innovation Awards. Prior to this role, Therese held several leadership positions at Citibank N.A. from March 2007 to August 2022, including Retail Bank Director and Sales and Distribution Director, overseeing the achievement of significant sales targets in Cards, Loans, and Retail Banking, and leading the best-performing sales team in the Asia Pacific for two consecutive years. In addition, Therese served as Remote Channels Head and Senior Vice President, managing the contact center and achieving recognition for the best-performing Citiphone Center in the World for three consecutive years. Therese earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Economics from the University of the Philippines Diliman, completing studies from 1990 to 1995.
