Liz Tipton

Liz Tipton is an experienced professional with a strong background in risk management, compliance, and education. Currently serving as Director of Risk and Compliance at Union Pacific Railroad since March 2012, Liz has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Director of Compliance and Senior Manager of Regulatory Compliance. Prior experience includes serving as Special Projects Lead at integrow and as a Career for Kids Program Specialist with Omaha Public Schools. Liz's educational background includes an MBA from Creighton University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Mathematics from The University of Kansas. Additionally, Liz has taught mathematics at the secondary level and held various roles with Teach for America and Baltimore City Public Schools.
