Mamdud Rashid

Mamdud Rashid is a non-executive director with extensive board experience in banking and financial. They currently serve as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of United Commercial Bank PLC. Previously, they were MD & CEO of NCC Bank Limited (2020–2023), where they increased business volume by 28% and operating profit by over 62%, and expanded overseas correspondent banking lines. Their career includes leadership roles at BRAC Bank Limited as Head of Wholesale Banking (2013–2017) and Deputy Managing Director & Group Chief Financial Officer (2017–2018), along with senior roles at Citi in multiple regions. They hold an MBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka, an MA in International Economics & Finance from Brandeis International Business School, and a CPA Australia (FCPA) qualification, among other credentials.
