UK for UNHCR is the United Nations Refugee Agency’s national charity for the United Kingdom. Our corporate, trust and foundation partnerships, as well as the generosity of individual supporters, help UNHCR protect people forced to flee conflict, violence and persecution.

Our work supports emergency relief operations as well as longer term care to help refugees rebuild their lives, such as healthcare, education and livelihoods programmes. UNHCR operates on more than 120 countries, including major humanitarian crises such as Syria, Yemen, Venezuela and South Sudan. With only 1% of UNHCR’s budget funded by the United Nations, partnerships and donations are critical to UNHCR’s humanitarian work across the world.
