Caroline Petersen currently serves as the Chair of the independent Technical Advisory Panel (iTAP) at the Green Climate Fund, providing expertise in ecosystems since January 2021. With over 20 years in sustainable development, Caroline has specialized in areas including ecosystem-based adaptation and climate-smart agriculture. They have held various positions within the United Nations Development Programme and consulted through Prosper with Nature, advising on nature-based solutions to climate challenges. Caroline is also a member of the Advisory Boards for both the Nature for Water Facility and the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. They hold an MSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics.
