Caroline Petit

Caroline Petit serves as the Deputy Director and Officer in Charge at the United Nations Regional Information Center (UNRIC) since August 2021, having previously held the position of Deputy Regional Director at UNRIC since December 2012. Caroline oversees European communication initiatives to enhance understanding and support for the United Nations' work. Prior roles within the United Nations include Chief of the Partnerships Unit in the News and Media Division and Senior Advisor for UN-EU communication partnerships, where Caroline developed communication strategies and secured long-term partnerships with major global broadcasters and European institutions. Before joining the United Nations, Caroline held fundraising and marketing roles within the film and media sectors, contributing to significant financial partnerships and marketing strategies for European film initiatives. Caroline holds a Bachelor’s degree from Université libre de Bruxelles and has extensive experience in communication and partnership management across international contexts.
