Juliana Regina MacEdo do Nascimento

Juliana Regina Macedo do Nascimento possesses extensive experience in advocacy and organizing within educational and labor sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Federal Advocacy for United We Dream since July 2019, Juliana has held various roles at the organization, including Senior Advocacy Manager and State and Local Policy Manager. Prior experience includes positions such as SoCal Intern Coordinator for the California Faculty Association, Site Coordinator for the AFL CIO's Union Summer Program, and Intern Coordinator for the American Federation of Teachers Local 1521. Educational accomplishments include a Master's in Public Policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles, and an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Cypress College.
