Christopher Mcdonald

Chief Innovation Officer

Christopher McDonald serves as Chief Innovation Officer for UnitedAg. He joined the organization in 2006 and mentored as the sole Underwriter for the United Agricultural Benefit Trust under Founder Bill Goodrich. In his current role, Christopher is the Chief Innovation Officer and oversees the innovative process of the organization. As the CIO, he is responsible for identifying innovative posibilities and brings them to fruition to best benefit the overall goals and mission of UnitedAg. Christopher leads the organization in research for new product ideas, product enhancements and product redesign to continue to empower our members with a range of health benefit options.

Christopher has expertise in the areas of underwriting, new group administration, reporting, product development, data mining and special projects. He has experience in multiple industries, including wholesale grocery, pork processing, healthcare, real estate, business analytics and staffing. To stay abreast of analytical trends in the healthcare industry, he attends many actuarial training seminars annually through the Society of Actuaries, Milliman Inc., and other organizations. Christopher currently serves on Teladoc's client advisory board, the nation's leading provider for telehealth services.
