Jon Alleman

Jon Alleman is currently the VP of Global Tax at Unity. Prior to this, they were the Sr. Director of Global Tax at Ancestry from June 2011 to April 2020. In this role, they were responsible for all domestic and foreign tax compliance, planning, and controversy for direct and indirect taxes, as well as ASC 740. Jon was also responsible for training, teaching, and advancing the careers of our team.

Before Ancestry, Jon worked as a Senior Tax Analyst at Goldman Sachs from February 2010 to June 2011. At GS, they were able to get a much better understanding of the international tax. Jon worked on multiple international entities that went through ownership/structure changes and gained a strong understanding of earnings and profits (E&P) and foreign sourcing. Jon also gained solid experience in the financial industry in general.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, Jon worked as a Senior Associate - Tax at Grant Thornton, LLP from September 2005 to February 2010. Before that, they were a Tax Research Assistant at BYU from September 2003 to April 2005.

Jon Alleman has a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Brigham Young University and a Master's degree in Taxation from the same school. Jon is also certified by LinkedIn in Leading a Customer-Centric Culture.

Jon Alleman works with Rajesh Mathew - VP, Finance, Ryan Peterson - VP, Solutions, and Mark Barrysmith - Chief Accounting Officer. Jon Alleman reports to Luis Felipe Visoso, CFO.
