John Beyer is a seasoned pharmacy operations professional with extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Currently serving as the System Director of Pharmacy Operations at UnityPoint Health since August 2022, John oversees multi-state pharmacy operations across Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, focusing on operational efficiency and quality patient care. Previously, John held the role of Regional Director of Pharmacy Services, managing pharmacy services for multiple hospitals, and has a solid foundation in pharmacy informatics and automation gained during tenure at University of Iowa Health Care, where John advanced from Assistant Director to Pharmacy Informatics Manager. John's educational background includes a Master of Science in Health Informatics and an MBA, complemented by a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
