Amit Jain

Amit Jain is a seasoned finance professional with extensive expertise in taxation, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Tax at Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. since April 2023. Prior to this, Amit held senior roles in taxation at Aegon Life and Reliance Health Insurance, managing both direct and indirect tax responsibilities. Amit's career began with foundational experiences as an Article Assistant at Pulindra Patel & Co., followed by positions focusing on statutory and tax audits, ultimately leading to a Senior Manager role at UnitedHealth Group. Amit is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a B.Com degree from Mumbai University.
