Juan Pablo Bermúdez

Juan Pablo Bermúdez, PhD, is a lecturer at the University of Southampton and a docente investigador at Universidad Externado de Colombia, where focus areas include the intersection of philosophy and behavioral sciences, particularly in decision-making and self-control. His teaching encompasses philosophy of mind and the history of Greek philosophy. Previous positions include postdoctoral researcher at Delft University of Technology and Université de Neuchâtel, alongside a research associate role at Imperial College London concentrating on ethics in human-computer interaction. With extensive interdisciplinary collaboration, Bermúdez has contributed to projects on vigilant control and social security enhancement in Colombia.
