Elena Villalba Mora

Elena Villalba Mora is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the fields of software engineering, user experience, and eHealth. Currently serving as the Director of the Cátedra Analytics en la Sociedad Digital and Principal Investigator of the Ageing Laboratory at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Elena focuses on the impact of ageing on quality of life and healthcare systems. Elena has held various academic positions, including Associate and Assistant Professor in Software Engineering, and has contributed as a senior researcher on user interaction and mobile health technologies. Additional roles include co-founder of MG Biomed SL, researcher at Instituto de Salud Carlos III, and member of eHealth Security Experts Group for ENISA. Elena's educational background includes a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Diplom in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
