Aaron Turner

Aaron Turner is a dedicated academic professional currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Senior Teaching Assistant at the University of Alberta since September 2023. Previous experience includes working as an Instructional Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University, where responsibilities involved proctoring exams and creating course materials for Cell and Molecular Biology. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Research Assistant, Aaron focused on cataloguing bacterial stocks and characterizing biofilms of Salmonella spp. in laboratory settings. Aaron is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Microbiology and Biotechnology at the University of Alberta, following a Master's program in the same field, and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, specializing in Biology with concentrations in Cell, Molecular Biology, and Genetics.
