Craig Melton

Craig Melton serves as the Director of Development at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, a position held since November 2016, after previously assuming roles as Associate Director of Development for both the Schulich School of Engineering and the Faculty of Arts / Libraries and Cultural Resources. Prior to this, Craig Melton was engaged in business development at Arcis Corporation from 2008 to 2015, where there was a focus on pursuing opportunities in the oil and gas sector and cultivating a diverse client network. Earlier experience includes working as a Project Coordinator at Complete Land Services Ltd from 2005 to 2008, focusing on geophysical operations and regulatory submissions, and as a Mailroom Supervisor at Data Business Forms, Inc. from 1999 to 2005, overseeing mail and courier distribution. Craig Melton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, earned between 1994 and 1998.
