Houman Solomon

Houman Solomon, MD, FASMBS, FACS, currently serves as the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance since January 2017 and as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of California, Riverside since March 2016. With extensive experience as a Minimally Invasive, Robotic and Bariatric Surgeon at the Association of South Bay Surgeons since August 2008, Solomon also held the position of Chief of the Department of Surgery at Torrance Memorial Health System from January 2013 to December 2019. Educational credentials include a fellowship in Laparoscopic, Robotic and Bariatric Surgery from Stanford University School of Medicine, a General Surgery Residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital, and a medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. A Bachelor’s Degree in Biology was obtained from UCLA.
