Krista Richmond

Krista Richmond has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as the Internal Communications Manager and Columns Editor at The University of Georgia since August 2016, after previously holding the position of Communications Coordinator. Prior to this, Krista worked at United Way of Acadiana from 2011 to 2016 as the Online Engagement Manager. Earlier in Krista's career, positions included Assistant Features Editor at The Daily Advertiser from 2007 to 2010 and Lifestyles Editor at CROSSVILLE CHRONICLE from 2004 to 2007. Krista holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2001-2003) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Tennessee Technological University (1997-2001).
