Cait Gillespie

Cait Gillespie is a dedicated research professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow, involved in the Decolonising North Lanarkshire’s Museum Collections Project under the guidance of Dr. Stephen Mullen. Prior to this role, Cait Gillespie was the Marketing and Media Coordinator at Trees for Life, and previously worked as a Funding and Partnerships Assistant at Workshop and Artists Studio Provision (Scotland) Limited. Cait Gillespie also has experience as a Freelance Copywriter and a Bookseller at Waterstones, as well as having served as a History Curator/Communications Assistant at GlenWyvis Distillery and a Communications Assistant at Aberdeenshire Council. Additionally, Cait Gillespie contributed to community engagement efforts for the 'Future City Glasgow Project' with Glasgow City Council. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in History from Leiden University and a BA in History with Journalism and Creative Writing from the University of Strathclyde.
