Dr. Lea Babucke

Dr. Lea Babucke is an Associate and Rechtsanwältin at Freshfields since September 2021, with prior experience as a Lehrbeauftragte für Strafrecht at Universität Hamburg from 2017 to the present. Previously, Dr. Babucke completed a Rechtsreferendariat at the Bundesministerium der Justiz in early 2021, focusing on criminal law, and at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from April to December 2020, specializing in economic criminal law and internal investigations. Dr. Babucke also interned at the Bundesverfassungsgericht for a brief period in early 2020. Dr. Babucke holds a Staatsexamen from the University of Hamburg and has furthered education at the University of Lausanne.
