Christine Poleski Gaona

Christine Poleski Gaona currently serves as the Assistant Dean at the Marilyn Davies College of Business, University of Houston-Downtown, where key responsibilities include overseeing the Advising and Student Services Office, enhancing enrollment management, and fostering student engagement through organizational reactivation. Prior to this role, Christine was the President of Oakstone Human Capital LLC, a legal recruiting firm focused on diversity and inclusion. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Director for the State of Wisconsin, overseeing licensing requirements for over 100,000 professionals, and being a Partner at Bohorquez Hoefker PLLC, where significant revenue growth was achieved. Christine has also held various academic positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including Assistant Director of the Academic Advancement Program. Christine earned a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a BA in International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
