Evan Delucia

Evan DeLucia is an accomplished academic and leader in the fields of sustainability, energy, and biology, currently serving as the Director of the Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment and the School of Integrative Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since October 2008. Prior to this, Evan held the positions of Head of the Department of Plant Biology and Founding Director of the Program in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Illinois from August 2000 to September 2008. Educational credentials include a PhD in Plant Ecology and Physiology from Duke University, an MFS in Forest Ecology from Yale University, and a BA in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Bennington College.
