Allison Schwanebeck

Allison Schwanebeck has extensive experience in program management and visitor engagement within the educational and cultural sectors. Currently serving as Program Manager/Director of Project Art at the University of Iowa Health Care since November 2025, Allison previously held various leadership positions at the Science Center of Iowa from June 2007 to November 2025, including Director of Visitor Experience and Director of Exhibits. In these roles, responsibilities included developing departmental goals, overseeing programs and exhibits, managing teams, supporting fundraising efforts, and creating engaging educational experiences. Additionally, Allison's background features roles such as Traveling Exhibits Manager and Programs Coordinator, where project management and cross-departmental collaboration were key. Early professional experience includes serving as an Account Associate at Freestyle Public Relations. Allison graduated from Central College with a BA in Art, Theatre, and Visual Communications in 2006.
