Amanda Monteiro

Amanda Monteiro is an experienced careers adviser with a strong background in employability and placements. Currently serving as a Senior Careers Adviser at the University of Kent since June 2018, Monteiro has previously held the role of Employability and Placements Manager at Canterbury Christ Church University from November 2015 to June 2018. Prior experience includes various positions at London South Bank University, such as Opportunities Manager, Interim Head of Careers, Placements Manager, and Project Manager for the Careers Service, spanning from June 2005 to October 2015. Amanda Monteiro holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Career Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education from the University of Warwick, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education, Training and Development of Adults from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from The University of Huddersfield.
