Xinyu Mao

Xinyu Mao is a dedicated postgraduate researcher at the University of Leeds since September 2022, currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design. With a solid foundation in marketing and engineering, Xinyu has experience as a shift leader at Caffè Nero and as a marketing specialist at 英窝窝, where responsibilities included market research and business negotiations. Prior roles include serving as a marketing application engineer at Shanghai i-Reader Biotechnology, where technical challenges in clinical use were addressed, and as a laboratory assistant at Southeast University, managing laboratory procurement and safety inspections. Xinyu also contributed as a supply chain specialist at Abbott, working on traceability projects and market research. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in international marketing management and a Master’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, both from the University of Leeds and Southeast University, respectively.
