Diya John

Diya John is a skilled legal professional and social entrepreneur, currently serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne since November 2023. Previous experience includes a role as a Litigation Paralegal at Arnold Bloch Leibler and a Seasonal Clerk position at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer focusing on disputes. Diya also contributed as a Senior Paralegal and Seasonal Clerk at Allens, specializing in tax law. In addition, Diya has a strong background in private equity, having interned at Straight Bat Private Equity and held various positions in prominent organizations such as Global Voices and Macquarie Group. As a Co-Director at VIDA Melbourne, Diya plays a key role in empowering young women through education.
