Saher Tinwala

Saher Tinwala is currently a Laboratory Technician at the University of Melbourne, having previously worked as a Food Retail Team Member at Coles Group, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and delivering excellent customer service. Saher has also served as a Casual Tutor at The University of Queensland, teaching biotechnology topics to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and participated in alumni engagement through the UQ Calling Crew. As a Research Assistant at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute and Translational Research Institute Australia, Saher developed gene editing protocols and investigated effective growth media for tumor spheroids while adhering to various compliance standards. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Biotechnology from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Zoology from Christ University, Bangalore.
