Mohamed Dahab is a distinguished Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since August 1983, focusing on teaching, research, and professional outreach. In addition, Mohamed serves as a Special Consultant in private practice, engaging with various industrial, engineering, NGO, and government agencies, specializing in sustainable systems for environmental and water quality improvement. Mohamed's expertise includes water purification and wastewater treatment for nutrient removal. In 1997, Mohamed held the position of Fulbright Research Professor at the Universität für Bodenkultur-Wien in Austria. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Engineer and Project Manager for the Iowa Department of Water, Air, and Waste Management. Mohamed earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Iowa State University and a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa.
