Richard Wood

Richard Wood is an Associate Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where employment began in October 2013, following a tenure at the University of California, San Diego from September 2006 to October 2013, which included roles as Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Research Fellow. Richard Wood's research focuses on earthquake and structural engineering, covering projects such as the NSF IGERT Training in Engineering for Cultural Heritage Diagnostics, the Hilti Seismic Project, and the NEES-Nonstructural Grand Challenge Project. Richard Wood holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering from Clarkson University.
