Marc Bailie is currently an Assistant Research Fellow at the University of Otago's IDEA Lab, focusing on both wet-lab research and computational analysis while collaborating with Wakatū Incorporation to create genomic tools for aquaculture. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD Candidate at the Riddet Institute and completing an industry secondment at Goodman Fielder. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, and Chemistry from Massey University. Additionally, Marc has experience as a Laboratory Demonstrator at Massey University from 2014 to 2017.
