Pekka Riuttanen

Pekka Riuttanen is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the University of Oulu since May 2018. Prior to this role, Pekka held the position of Director Controller at Stora Enso from April 2013 to May 2018. Additionally, Pekka served as a Teacher in Finance Management and Marketing at Raahen Porvari-ja Kauppakoulu for nearly a year and accumulated extensive experience in various Business Controller roles at Nokia from November 1999 to June 2012, where responsibilities included leading and improving financial performance within software units. Earlier career experience includes a role as Sales Manager at Osuuskauppa Arina from January 1998 to November 1999. Pekka holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Oulu and a Bachelor of Administrative Sciences in Management Accounting from the University of Lapland.
