Joshua Beeman is an experienced information technology leader, currently serving as the Associate VP of IT and Associate CIO at the University of Pennsylvania since June 2010. In this role, Joshua oversees IT initiatives that enhance campus-wide services and operational efficiency while ensuring organizational effectiveness within the Information Services and Computing (ISC) division. Prior to this role, Joshua served as the IT Executive Director and University Information Security Officer at EDUCAUSE from November 2012 to November 2015, where responsibilities included facilitating a working group focused on governance, risk, and compliance in higher education security. Additional experience includes serving on the Web Services Customer Advisory Board at Amazon in 2012, working as a Senior Cyber Security Advisor at Los Alamos National Laboratory from January 2008 to July 2010, and various positions at Customer Value Partners and the University of Pennsylvania. Joshua holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from UCLA.
