Robert Henry Cox

Robert Henry Cox is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in political science. Currently serving as a Professor and Chair of the Political Science Department at the University of South Carolina since July 2012, Robert has previously held a position as a Co-Editor for Governance: An International Journal of Policy, Administration and Institutions from July 2005 to January 2017. Prior to this, Robert was a Professor in the School of International and Area Studies at the University of Oklahoma and served as Director of the program, which focuses on preparing students for careers in the global economy. Robert holds a PhD in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a B. Phil. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University, supporting a research focus on European politics, public policy, European integration, and political institutions in Europe.
