Emily Kuo

Emily Kuo is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California. Emily has a background in electrical engineering and music, and has experience working in both research and development roles. Emily is currently working at USC in an unknown role.

Emily's first internship was with Apple, where they worked on developing a MATLAB algorithm to estimate the direction of arrival of acoustic events in a binaural audio signal. Emily was selected to present their findings to the leadership team of Apple's Technology Development Group (TDG).

Emily's next internship was with Logitech, where they redesigned the automatic test equipment software for Logitech's devices. Emily used Python and Raspberry Pi to develop a client-server system that increased testing efficiency by 30%. Emily also integrated their code with existing firmware frameworks to ensure compatibility of the new software design and DUTs.

Emily has also worked as a research assistant at USC, where they worked on music and machine learning projects. Emily also has experience as a MacBook repair technician and as an undergraduate teaching assistant.

Emily Kuo is a graduate of Woodside Priory School. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in Music, Science, and Technology from Stanford University.
