Douglas' first foray into the tech world was as a software engineer for Facebook, where they worked on front-end development and testing. After a year and a half with the company, they transitioned to Oculus VR, where they designed a new feature for the Oculus Store. This experience solidified their interest in full-stack development, and they went on to pursue this field more formally by earning a degree in computer science from USC.

Since then, Douglas has continued to work as a software engineer, but has also taken on roles in graphic design and event planning. In their current position at USC, they are using their skills in all three areas to support the university's community of makers and hackers.
