Nick Chen

Nick Chen is currently a student at the University of Southern California, where they are studying computer science. Nick has previously worked as a webmaster, devops engineer, and research assistant.

Nick's passion for computer science began in high school, where they took their first programming class. Nick was immediately hooked and decided to pursue a career in the field. After graduating from high school, Nick attended the University of Central Oklahoma, where they worked as a research assistant. Nick then transferred to USC, where they have continued their studies and held various positions related to computer science.

Most recently, Nick worked as a webmaster for USC Alpha Phi Omega, where they migrated infrastructure to the cloud and updated the organization's tech stack. Nick also created a manual and videos to help onboard successors and standardize future development practices. Prior to that, Nick worked as a devops engineer for USC's Rocket Propulsion Lab, where they setup and deployed Docker containers and automated backups. Nick also wrote an ESlint config for Node.js projects and enforced code quality standards among the team.

In their free time, Nick enjoys playing video games and spending time with their friends. Nick is also an active member of USC's gaming club, where they often compete in tournaments.

Nick Chen has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Nick also has a Computer Science degree from Francis Tuttle Technology Center. Lastly, they have a High School Diploma from Edmond Santa Fe.
