Nomar Rodriguez

Nomar Rodriguez is currently Unknown role at University of Southern California. Prior to that, they were a Hardware Developer Intern at IBM from May 2021 to August 2021. There, they ran testing and operations of PCIE I/O sub-systems for enterprise-level computers through extracting LTSSM traces, conducting interop tests, and implementing error injection scripts. They also organized and researched PCIE transfer knowledge for an accessible wiki to assist with new hire training. Before that, they were an Undergraduate Researcher - Space Engineering Research Center at University of Southern California from June 2020 to May 2021. There, they researched, programmed, and tested triangulation and lidar sensors to make their own version of TriDAR for implementation on a universal genderless spacecraft docking system. They also collaborated with a 6 person team to communicate and coordinate needs and plans for the CLING project between SERC, Aerospace Corporation, and JPL. Nomar Rodriguez has also held the position of Vice President at Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers from August 2019 to April 2022 and President at SHPE from August 2019 to September 2022. Additionally, they were a Systems Integration Test & Electrical (SIT&E) High School Intern at Northrop Grumman from June 2018 to August 2018.
